Dyersville scored the deciding run in the bottom of the 9th inning. After an out was recorded, Shea Hillenbrand hit a bases-empty home run (his 12th of the season) resulting in an exciting win for Dyersville and a raucous post-game celebration by the home town fans. Dyersville finished with just 6 hits in the victory. Jason Jennings(3-15) was charged with the loss. 'You probably have a better chance of winning the lottery than this happening,' said Benoit who got credit for the win, 'I don't expect it to sink in for awhile.' he said. 'You know, it's hard to say who was better, the starter or the bullpen!'
